There are certainly moments I regret…
The time I stepped out to preach with my fly down…
The wedding where I completely forgot the bride’s name (sorry Stephanie!)…
The time I pulled poison Ivy without gloves…
And then there are the REALLY regrettable things…but you will have to use your imagination to glean these.
There are moments, though that you will never regret. Those moments that you have set aside and chosen to spend time with God. I can honestly say, I have NEVER regretted a single moment spent walking with Jesus in the early hours of the morning.
I have never regretted a single moment where I spent time in His Word learning what it means to know Him more and walk in His ways.
I have never regretted a moment I heard His voice when I desperately needed to know which way to go on something.
I have never regretted a moment of praise and worship to the one who has granted me life, salvation, peace and hope.
There are many regrettable moments in life, but spending time with Jesus will never be one of them.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
