Many will search for true joy and happiness.
Unfortunately, most will never truly find it.

Paul discovered the “secret” to true joy and wrote about it in many different ways in his letters to various churches but none as prolific as his letter to the church at Philippi.

What made this letter so fascinating is not his words of encouragement, but the environment in which he wrote them.

Philippians is a much quoted “book” of the Bible but not everyone knows that Paul wrote it in the confines of a prison cell that could have signaled the end of his life on earth.

He not only found great joy in his current circumstances, but also in a church that had gone to great lengths to demonstrate the gospel with their own lives.

It is truly a case study in how to discover true joy.

I hope you will join us this Sunday as we not only kick off a new series, but also a new KIND of series…

Over the next few weeks, as we dissect Paul’s letter to a church that meant a great deal to him, we will also be sharing some important tools for “digging deeper” in your own personal Bible study.

We will be sharing the 5 basic questions that you need to ask about every passage of scripture that you read and share some study tools with you if you are ready to go deeper in your own personal Bible study.

The Bible was written in a very different time and culture, but that doesn’t mean it can’t come alive for you, today.
We hope you will join us and don’t forget to bring a friend!
