Take a minute to think about that.
God is MORE invested in YOU than you are!

Sometimes I find myself wondering what God is up to in my life, my family, my work, my ministry. As I look through the day to day duties, challenges, and (at times) setbacks.

What exactly is God doing?
Is He paying attention?
Did I mess up and He’s abandoned me?

I’m guessing you have those thoughts sometimes, too.
Does it surprise you that pastors think like this?
Of course, they do!

But in those times, I find that God gently nudges me and says…I’m on top of this. I care about you. I have plans for you. You have much yet to fulfill.

You see, God is invested in you.
Not the kind of investment that He’s hoping you’ll pan out.
The kind of investment that involved His Son on a wooden torture device that would stop His heart, stop His breathing, and for any other person, end His life.
However, it didn’t end. He rose form the grave and established the church through the power of his blood.

He also left something for you…the Holy Spirit.

21 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, 22 and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 1:21–22 (ESV)

God is invested in you.
Not so that you can have a better life than everyone else, but so that you can help bring dead people to life.

He cares about your time, your commitments, your job, your setbacks, and your hopes and dreams.

So many times, we tend to think that we are living all alone but God says He is with you (Matt. 28:20). He will never leave you (Heb. 13:5), and He’s working for your good (Rom. 8:28).

He’s rooting for you because you are an important part of His plan to help redeem the world to Himself.

Of course He’s also invested in your life personally, just know that He has a bigger purpose for you than even you believe.

But, God isn’t just invested in YOU, He invested you INTO the world!
Life confidently, knowing that God is working in you!
